- FORWARD is an accelerator program by Square for Black and Latino entrepreneurs with retail businesses.Shift your mindset from a founder to a CEO and learn to effectively scale your brand. FORWARD is for retail businesses with the following background: Business incorporation is registered under clothing & accessories, health & beauty, home goods & furniture, or food & beverage sectors. Due BEFORE April 1st.
- The Kitty Fund makes small micro investments in Moms who are running employer-based small businesses with two or more employees. For 2023, this $25,000 fund will make investments of $1,000 to 25 mother-led business owners in the form of grants. Due April 17th.
- The Enthuse Foundation Insurance Grant will provide women entrepreneurs with funds towards insurance costs. One woman entrepreneur will receive $2,500 towards insurance-related costs (car, homeowners, medical, life, equipment). Due April 17th.
- The Enthuse Foundation Retirement Grant will provide a woman entrepreneur with funding specifically for her retirement savings. One woman entrepreneur will receive $2,500 to be used towards retirement. Due April 7th.
- When small businesses succeed, everyone benefits. In partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and with funding from Etsy and Progressive, the Small Business Growth Fund provides small business owners the capital they need to make their next move. Recipients will receive $5,000-$25,000 grants to accelerate their growth and achieve their goals in 2023. Due April 21st.
- For the first time, BOTOX® Cosmetic, in partnership with IFundWomen®, will help close the Confidence Gap by providing 20 groundbreaking women entrepreneurs each with $25k grants, coaching, and mentorship. Honorees will also become a part of the award-winning IFundWomen® Method Crowdfunding Accelerator, designed to fuel ambitions, increase confidence, and drive long-term impact for future women founders. Due April 7th.
- The Founders First Job Creators Quest Grant is one of many ways small businesses can apply for the capital needed to grow. As part of our mission to provide continued education to founders, all grant recipients also receive a scholarship to one of our acclaimed accelerator programs. Grant money can be used as growth capital to hire or rehire premium wage jobs. Cash infusion can be used to purchase, fix or enhance equipment necessary to help manage growth challenges and scale for the future. The $100,000 fund will make investments to 25 diverse-led businesses in Southern California. Must have at least 2 employees. Due April 3rd.
- Giving Joy grants are one-time micro grants (maximum $500 USD). Women ages 18 and up from any country in the world are eligible to apply. Due April 30th.
- The New London/WBDC Small Business Grant Program is designed to help businesses in the City of New London, Connecticut grow! Grants between $2,500 and $10,000 will be awarded for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth and profitability. Due April 17th.
- In 2021, American Express and Main Street America created the Backing Small Businesses* grant program to help economically vulnerable small business owners recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and grow their businesses. On March 20, 2023, applications will open for 350 small business grants of $5,000 to eligible businesses in the U.S. and territories. Must be a “brick-and-mortar” location. Due April 7th.
- In partnership with Microsoft, we’ve officially launched our 3rd annual DWEN Dream Tech Contest, in pursuit to help scale three lucky winners through the power of technology. Let us hear it! - According to a study done by the Department of Health and Human Services, childcare care costs an average of $11,000 per year, per child. For a budding entrepreneur, she might have to choose between a potential investor meeting or her toddler. Thanks to the support of B.T.R. Nation (2021 Pitch Competition Winner), the Enthuse Foundation Child Care Grant will address this challenge head on. Due April 17th.
- Thanks to the support of HAMLIN, Enthuse Foundation Digital Marketing Grant will provide a woman entrepreneur with funding to promote her company. One woman entrepreneur will receive $2,500 for digital marketing related expenses. Due April 17th.
- For the last ten years, H-E-B has set out on a quest to find the best in Texas – the best local products made by Texans! From the Panhandle to the Rio Grande Valley, from West Texas to Beaumont, the H-E-B “Quest for Texas Best” is an open call for locally owned, small food, beverage, and general merchandise suppliers to have their items considered for placement on H-E-B shelves and $25,000 in their pocket! Due April 6th.
- The Jrue and Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund (JLH Fund) is offering a fourth round of funding to underserved Black-owned businesses and nonprofits.Recipients will receive $17,500 in direct unrestrictive grant funding.In addition, the JLH Social Impact Fund will match dollar for dollar $17,500 of what each grantee crowdfunds during a FundBlackFounders campaign. Due April 9th.
- Glossier’s vision is to change the way the world sees beauty — and we can’t do that without changing the beauty industry itself. Just last year, Black founders raised only 1% of all venture capital funding— a decrease from the 1.3% they raised in 2021. As part of our continued investment in diversity, equity, and inclusion in beauty (and beyond!), we’re launching our third Grant Program for Black-Owned Beauty Businesses, committing $300,000 towards six visionary businesses in the US. Due April 11th.
- The Mastercard Start Path In Solidarity program supports underrepresented fintech founders on their journey to scale and innovate. Funding varies. Due April 12th.
- Flawless by Gabrielle Union is helping bridge this gap by awarding three Black, female entrepreneurs $25,000 each in financial support, along with a one-year LinkedIn Premium membership and a mentorship session to help elevate your LinkedIn profile. Due April April 19th.
- NAR’s 2023 Good Neighbor Award application is now open. If you make an impact in your community through volunteer work, we want to hear your story. Five REALTORS® will win $10,000 in grants to benefit their charitable cause and will be honored at NAR NXT in Anaheim. Due April 19th.
- Applications for the Fall Cohort of Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women: Black in Business program are now open. This free business education program is dedicated to reaching Black women entrepreneurs with the tools necessary to turn their business potential into business growth. Due April 21st.
- The Blavity360º Publisher Business Grant* offers a grant to two minority-owned publishers as an investment in their creative efforts to serve the growing needs of communities of color. By providing coaching, recognition, and resources, the grant aims to support publishers. Due April 21st.
- VELA is now accepting applications for its 2023 Micro grant program. Micro grants provide fast funding for everyday entrepreneurs – students, parents, educators, and community leaders – who are building unconventional learning ecosystems within their communities. Eligible applicants can apply for $2,500 or $10,000. Approved grant recipients are welcomed into VELA’s fast-growing community of thousands of out-of-system innovators nationwide. Due April 23rd.
- Merchant Maverick started its Opportunity Grant Program in 2021 to give back to the small business community after tumultuous lockdowns and business closures caused by the Covid pandemic. Due April 27th.
- The J.M.K. Innovation Prize seeks to identify, support, and elevate innovators who are spearheading transformative early-stage projects in the fields of the environment, heritage conservation, and social justice. In 2023, we will award up to ten Prizes, each including a cash award of $150,000 over three years, plus $25,000 in technical assistance funds, for a total award of $175,000. Awardees also receive guidance through the Fund and its resource network, providing tools and training to support them through the challenges of a startup organization. Due April 28th.
- The Ray of Hope Prize® identifies the top nature-inspired startups in the world and fosters their growth by providing a 10-week program focused on sustainable business training, communications support, and opportunities for non-dilutive funding. - The Catalyst Fund is offering grants to Nonprofits & Social Enterprises to fund ideas or early-stage projects that have a high potential for large-scale impact and sustainable change. You can be a seasoned social entrepreneur or a first-time changemaker. - American Family Insurance Foundation Dream Grants – Grants up to $10,000 available to registered 501(c)(3) organizations in the following states: AZ, CO, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, NV, NE, OH, OR, ND, SD, WA, WI or UT. Apply by 4/15/2023 –
- Capital Network: Female Founder Fellowship Program – 6 month+ virtual Fellowship combines their Fundraising Readiness programming with a structured curriculum, mentorship & accountability buddies, legal & leadership coaching, and resources to help you build your business. Apply by 4/10/2023.
- Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network Grant – The Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network (DWEN) connects female entrepreneurs around the globe with networks, knowledge and insight that gives them power to do more. Through DWEN, Dell Technologies empowers female founders and aspiring entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and their vision through the power of technology, expansion of their personal networks and access to capital. - Finimpact Women’s Empowerment Business Grant – Women-owned, U.S.-based, small businesses that have been operating for at least six months and have less than ninety-nine employees can apply for grants up to $17,500. Apply by 4/30/2023.
- Foundation for Financial Planning Grants – Each year, FFP awards grants to community-based and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to fund the development of programs connecting volunteer financial planners to individuals and families in crisis or need. Grants up to $40,000. Apply by 4/30/2023.
- Lift as We Climb Grant – Company must be based and operated in the United States and be in one of the following categories: fashion, skincare or hair accessories/tools. Grants for $25,000. Apply by 4/19/2023.
- Microsoft TechSpack Community Engagement Fellowship Grant – Community organizations focused on creating inclusive economic opportunities will have the opportunity to apply to receive a mix of funding and contextual technical assistance through in-person and virtual support. Awarded organizations will select a member of their team to represent their organization as a TechSpark Fellow. Applicants must be US-based non-profit. Funding up to $50,000.
- NBC Universal Local Impact Grants – Organization must be a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with revenues over $100K. Must be located in one of the 11 NBC and Telemundo owned television markets listed in the grant guidelines. Grant will fund work being done in: Youth Education and Empowerment, Next Generation Storytellers and Community Engagement. Apply by 4/21/2023.
- Novae Grants Database – Novae Grants databases are intended for small businesses with 6-100 employees, though some are also intended for larger businesses and sole proprietor startups. No deadline.
- Women and Minority Business Owner Down Payment Grant (Bank of America) – Non-repayable grant is for up to $25,000 on SBA owner occupied commercial estate loans for business locations within select opportunity zones (Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles). Program may expand based on pilot.
- UpStart Small Business Grant – Grants for small businesses located in Washington County, AR. Grants for 5,000.
- Carson, CA Small Business and Commercial Improvement Grants – Small Business Grant Program will provide grants of $5,000 to $25,000 for businesses impacted by the pandemic, while the Commercial Facade Improvement Program will offer a dollar-for-dollar matching grant to encourage businesses to make aesthetic improvements to their storefronts. Businesses must be located in Carson and have 50 employees or fewer. Apply today.
- Lake County, CA Microgrant Program – Must be physically located in Lake County and have <5 full-time equivalent employees. Grants for $2,500 on a first come, first served basis.
- Long Beach Visual Improvement Grant Program – This City of Long Beach Visual Improvement Program (VIP) Grant will provide direct financial relief to local small businesses and nonprofits impacted by crime and vandalism on or after 10/1/2022. Eligible businesses can receive $1,500 to cover repairs to their storefront caused by vandalism. Apply today.
- San Bernardino County Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant – Must be a business located within the San Bernardino County boundaries with 5 or less employees. Grants for $2,500. No deadline.
- San Francisco Vandalism Relief Grant – Business must have a storefront that was damaged after July 1, 2020 and business must have less than $8M in revenue. Grants for $2,000. Apply today.
- Advanced Industries Export Grant – Helps Colorado-based advanced industries technology businesses who want to export or are currently exporting. This grant is for small- and medium-sized businesses for up to $15,000. Apply today.
- Hispanic Owned Business Grant for Louisiana – Must be at least 51% Hispanic owned business for profit operating in the state of Louisiana and be/become a Member of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Louisiana. Grants are $2,500 – first come, first served. Rolling.
- The IIMS Community Engagement Small Project Grants program supports community and research collaborations from South Texas with grants of up to $5,000 so that they may develop activities that lead to the translation of research for public health benefit. The CESPG are available to newly-developed or current community-academic partnerships with projects focused on: (1) research/assessment, (2) education/training, and/or (3) dissemination or communication of research results, program features, or policy implications. Proposal topics are unrestricted; however, those involving health care practice-based research networks, health outcomes, epidemiology, and public health are encouraged. Due April 3rd.
- Rural Business Development Grant money must be used for projects that benefit rural areas or towns outside the urbanized periphery of any city with a population of 50,000 or more. Due April 19th.

- UpStart Small Business Grant – Grants for small businesses located in Washington County, AR. Grants for 5,000.
- Carson, CA Small Business and Commercial Improvement Grants – Small Business Grant Program will provide grants of $5,000 to $25,000 for businesses impacted by the pandemic, while the Commercial Facade Improvement Program will offer a dollar-for-dollar matching grant to encourage businesses to make aesthetic improvements to their storefronts. Businesses must be located in Carson and have 50 employees or fewer. Apply today.
- Lake County, CA Microgrant Program – Must be physically located in Lake County and have <5 full-time equivalent employees. Grants for $2,500 on a first come, first served basis.
- Long Beach Visual Improvement Grant Program – This City of Long Beach Visual Improvement Program (VIP) Grant will provide direct financial relief to local small businesses and nonprofits impacted by crime and vandalism on or after 10/1/2022. Eligible businesses can receive $1,500 to cover repairs to their storefront caused by vandalism. Apply today.
- San Bernardino County Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant – Must be a business located within the San Bernardino County boundaries with 5 or less employees. Grants for $2,500. No deadline.
- San Francisco Vandalism Relief Grant – Business must have a storefront that was damaged after July 1, 2020 and business must have less than $8M in revenue. Grants for $2,000. Apply today.
- Advanced Industries Export Grant – Helps Colorado-based advanced industries technology businesses who want to export or are currently exporting. This grant is for small- and medium-sized businesses for up to $15,000. Apply today.
- Hispanic Owned Business Grant for Louisiana – Must be at least 51% Hispanic owned business for profit operating in the state of Louisiana and be/become a Member of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Louisiana. Grants are $2,500 – first come, first served. Rolling.
- The IIMS Community Engagement Small Project Grants program supports community and research collaborations from South Texas with grants of up to $5,000 so that they may develop activities that lead to the translation of research for public health benefit. The CESPG are available to newly-developed or current community-academic partnerships with projects focused on: (1) research/assessment, (2) education/training, and/or (3) dissemination or communication of research results, program features, or policy implications. Proposal topics are unrestricted; however, those involving health care practice-based research networks, health outcomes, epidemiology, and public health are encouraged. Due April 3rd.
- Rural Business Development Grant money must be used for projects that benefit rural areas or towns outside the urbanized periphery of any city with a population of 50,000 or more. Due April 19th.
